Selected from the Blue Baron Estate, this is the quintessential classic coffee. Rich in flavour and aroma, full bodied, exceptionally smooth and well balanced, with mild acidity.

Of all coffees, this must most closely match the description given by Sheikh Abd-al-Kadir in 1587 that "coffee is like common man's gold, and like gold it brings to every man the feeling of luxury and nobility". Considered the 'Rolls Royce' of coffees - they certainly make us pay for it!

The Blue Baron Estate is owned by the Minott family of Mandeville, Jamaica, whose business has been growing and processing exceptional coffees for over 75 years. The Blue Baron Estate is part of the larger Cedarhurst lands located high up the Buff Bay valley of Portland, and has for decades produced exceptional quality Blue Mountain coffee due to the enriched soils and perfect climatic  conditions. The Blue Mountains' lingering clouds provide a natural buffer for the luscious, green coffee trees, offering shade from the powerful sun, and the relative humidity created by the clouds contribute to the development of the coffee bean, enhancing the fineness and exceptional quality. 

Rich in flavour and aroma, full bodied, exceptionally smooth and well balanced, with mild acidity. The cup profile is of Apricot, Melon and Milk Chocolate. 

Medium roasted, for best results we recommend that this coffee is brewed as a Filter or Cafetiere coffee.
